Camila Coronado is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2019 to start living with her husband.

She has a Bachelor’s in Architecture from FADU (Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urban planning) from the University of Buenos Aires. She always has been interested in Urban Design. Unfortunately, her undergraduate program only offered two courses in this area, and taking those courses left her wanting to know more. For this reason, she was very excited that the University of Oklahoma had a master’s Program dedicated to Urban Design and found the prospect of being able to study this area further to be an excellent opportunity.

Camila’s hobbies include drawing, reading, exercising, playing videogames and watching movies.

JEREMY BANES

Graduate Student

Jeremy has lived in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma for most of his life.  He served tables and bartended to support his wife and children while attending college part time.  He has studied Law, Theology, Philosophy, Literature and History.  Somehow, he managed to graduate from Saint Gregory’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts.

Amongst other things, Jeremy is interested in what makes a just society and a good citizen. One day, he was suddenly struck with the surprising notion that the city has been the stage for societal experimentation and human progress for longer than recorded history. By this somewhat circuitous route, Jeremy ended up in the Urban Design program at the University of Oklahoma.
